I have the honor of handing you enclosed my Accounts as Colonial Treasurer, for the year 1854, shewing a Cash Balance of £14111. 5. P. remaining at the close of the year, the existence of which has been certified as per enclosed Report of the Board of Survey held by the order of The Honorable The Lieutenant Governor, as also by his certificate to the enclosed return of the Balances in the Colonial Chests on the first and last days of the year.
